To confirm if she has acromegaly have them do a blood test of GH (growth hormone levels ) and IGF1 levels. The gaining wieght, irregular periods, feeling hot, tired, face puffy , hands , feet are all symptoms of acromegaly. The MRI will confirm the tumor.
