I have a prolactinoma? in my cavernous sinus. I had surgery last May to remove it from the pituitary but it wasn't there. It surprised my surgeon more than me I think. The surgery went well and if it had got my tumor would of been a resounding success! as it is I've had surgery now have Growth hormone defiency and the tumor remains untouched in the cavernous sinus and is therefore inoperable. I am in the UK and although walking and talking and even working normally I want this little 7mm by 7mm beggar out of my head now even if that means causing a stroke. I'm the type of person who just gets over things My GP tells me that the cartoid can be compressed by up to 80% before any stroke symptoms may happen it's a tough cookie. I work with computers so when the eyes nerves get involved that will be the time I will push for what ever I can get here or maybe America. PT368041 I would really like to know how you get on with the cyberknife.
