----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Indygirl_panhypopit Message 7 in Discussion Judy, Joint aches and pains are listed on the package insert with the medicine as signs of taking too much. Is your endo regularly checking your IGF-1 level by blood test? If not he/she should. I also take this brand and was started on too high of a dose. I tried slowly backing down, but didn't get much relief until I stopped it for 3 days, then started over at .1mg. Then I worked my way up by alternating the current and new dose for a week after I had been on the dose for 4 weeks without any problems. I also got my blood level of IGF-1 checked every 4 weeks. :) Gina ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
