One of my co-workers has a cousin with acromegaly. A young man of 27. This is
so
rare a disease that I was surprised to hear that. I met with him for lunch one
day and picked his brain..... we had a very interesting conversation. We were
talking about symptoms and he talked about his low body temperature. My jaw
dropped. In the past 5 years, i have bought at least 6 thermometers, over
different kinds.. I thought they were all broken, dgital, mercury, strip, the
lot of them. that I got the duds in the batch, every time. Every time I've
taken
my temperature, when I would expect I have a raised temperature, (afterall,
thats the only time you usually take your temp lol), it hasn't even reached
'normal'. Duh!! So, since then, I have kept a log of my temperatures taken 3
times a day. It really is all over the place, and but is failry consistant with
the time the day. early morning it is the lowest, averaging around 97.2,
afternoon is the highest, averaging 97.7. Bizarre. As anyone else been told
about, or experienced this?
