Hello Dee, hello Ann. I had surgery back in 2003. I am fine! I had a very
experienced surgeon, and I believe that has a lot to do with the fact that I
did recover from surgery.

Try to think positive and get educated about your situation. It is important
that you have doctors and surgeons that are experienced with pituitary tumors.
It is important that you ask lots of questions. And it is important that you
find a skilled endocrinologist to provide you ongoing care and to check your
hormone balances yearly, or as needed.

I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Take care,

Marcia

Hi Dee, I know how you feel. I was diagnosed in August with a 15 mm
non-secreting pit tumor when my neurologist was trying to figure out the
reasons
for my facial pain. I was shocked and scared. I have seen an endocrinologist,

and two neurosurgeons. I am due for a surgery on January 3rd. Sometimes I am
scared, sometimes I want to cancel the surgery, sometimes I am very positive
about my decision to have a surgey. Try to get as much information as you can.

There are so many knowledgable members in this group who can give a lot of
helpful information. Take care. Ann
