----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Daryl Message 2 in Discussion Loaferjohn, I see my urologist every year now. Had seed implants and radiation for Prostate Cancer in 2002. My PSA is now undetectable so on my last visit he changed the schedule to once a year. I have read a lot regarding Prostate Cancer. I am confused as to why replacement hormones would be any more cancer producing than natural Testosterone. I know they can control Prostate Cancer by severely depressing the Testosterone level, but there are a few men and Docs who are replacing hormoes in men with Prostate Cancer and undetectatable PSAs to improve their quality of life. This is fairly new and it is yet to be determine how dangerous it is. If you don't have Prostate Cancer, I would not worry about bringing your Testosterone level up to the normal range. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
