I am taking cabergoline the generic version of dostinex and one of the side effects is constipation. I don't have constipation but about a day before and the day after I take my two week dose I get severe diarrhea. I was told by a few doctors that it may be that my body is "cleansing" it's self out after being constipated for the few days the medication was in my system. Also I will get a general upset feeling in my stomach every now and again like my stomach is doing flips lol but I think that is just the cabergoline doing that because I never had it with bromocriptine but I was constantly sick when I was on it that's why I switched to cabergoline.
