----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: CUSHIE2X Message 1 in Discussion I have intermittent/cyclical cushings for the 2nd time. I have read Dr. Friedman's website advice as well as many postings here regarding when to do 24 hr urine tests and saliva tests for elevated cortisol. It seems that the consensus is when you feel up, good, anxious, or manic(?), corisol is high. When one is swelling, exhausted, and in pain, cortisol is normal or low. I have had several elevated as well as normal tests. Recently I have had a severe flare up (extreme exhaustion, pain, and swelling to name a few) and these last for 2-3 weeks before having an up day. Is this typical? Can somebody explain? Thanks! ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
