For some it does. In my case, no. I still have fatigue... it's been a few
years on dostinex/cabergoline. I mainly get sleepy for 2 days after taking the
pill. I take .5 mg 1x per week. What helps me some is drinking vitamin water
and/or SoBe Green Tea. If I go out or do anything that requires additional
activity, I pay for it by being twice as fatigued either that night or the next
day. Likely your doctor will have you taking .5 mg 2x a week. Let the
medication do the job it needs to (getting your prolactin down). After that,
if you are still getting fatigue or other troublesome side effects, make a
request for a reduction to 1x a week. If it's keeping your prolactin levels
down (as it does in my case), at least you won't have to deal with its effects
as much.
