OMG!!!! I am having a panic attack just thinking about your situation! I freak
every time I am in that stupid little machine and I am not cramped in like you.
I want to cry for you. Now that I am all freaked out. This may not be the best
option but you might want to consider talking to the Doc about an open scan MRI
or the standing one. I have no idea what it is called. The problem is that they
are not as strong as the closed MRI's but you have unique circumstances!!!! Can
they give you some other form of dye? I just had a CT last Monday and was
shaking through that-:) Yes, if my dress is too tight I get claustrophobic!!!!
Please let us know what the end resolve to this issue is as I am sure this is
not an uncommon issue! God bless you!

HUGS,
Tina

Hello,

I went to day for my first MRI. The tumour was discovered by CT Scan in
Winnipeg. I have been drugging myself the last 36 hours since I have allergics
to CT Scan dye. And after is all said and done I would rather chance the Dye
and dying from shock then have another MRI.

Has anyone one elsa had problems fitting in to the MRI tube. Yes I am pluse
size thanks to the tumour. But I could bearly fit in to it. Once I was in my
arms keep going num, to the point that I was in pain and crying. The nurse
said I was moving to much, the photos were blurry. She said she did get some
good photos. I had to stop early could not take it. They did safe they did
get enough photos.

Has anyone else had this problem about not fitting in to the MRI?
Please let me know.
