My seizures were caused by the tumor. The tumor was pressed up against my
temporal lobe, which was causing seizures (this is rare, but was due to my
tumor being very large and aggressive). I didn't know what seizures were, but
I was having them for about 6 months prior to the tumor being discovered.

After the tumor was partially resected and pressure was removed from my
temporal lobe, I continued to have seizures. This was because the tumor had
done extensive scarring to my brain, which also can cause seizures.

I haven't had any seizures (knock on wood) for about a year, because most of
the scarring has healed. I never had any problems with Cabergoline though.
