That depends more on the type of tumor rather then the age of the
patient and size of the tumor. I know a 6 year old child who has a 4cm
tumor abd his Docs will not touch it. If she is having issues with her
growth hormone levels you really might want to consider taking the
pressure off of her gland. excess growth hormone can cause a host of
health issues as she is growing up. I am sure you will know more after
the MRI and blood work. I will keep your family in my thoughts and
prayers!!!
