I would like to know if anyone can tell me what I would need to discuss with my
dr. as the reason I feel like I need to be receiving disability benefits rather
than working. I am a 28 year old mental health case manager with a rather
large prolactinoma that I have been getting treatment for over 8 years for. I
was told that I have an artery growing through it so surgery is out of the
question right now, but I have trouble fcosuing. I also have been diagnosed
with sarcoidosis which has tumors develooping in my lungs and sinuses. I do
not want to seem whiny but I do believe that this is rather much for me at this
stage of my life. I cannot provide quality care for anyone else when my body
is deteriorating. I am on a 12 month course of steroids for the tumors which
have already added 22 pounds to my frams in the last 6 weeks. Any advice on
what I need to do would be greatly appreciated. My boss says I look fine and
he does not understand what is wrong with me.
