Bone growth is permanent. Soft tissue growth recedes. This includes hands,
feet, face etc. The good news is the heart ( including cardiomegaly and Left
ventricular hypertrophy) can return to normal if IGF is controlled. I am proof
of that, but I was on the edge of permanent damage apparently.

Sandostation is started at a low dose and gradually increased. No one should
talk surgery as long as there is room for you to increase dose without
experiencing side effects. And not for nothing- you can still have surgical
resection and not have controlled levels (everyone here raise your hand who is
medically managed post surgery..mines up) so if surgery is not the way you want
to go then don't, but definitely get those levels under control. Even if you
don't care about larger extremities, the heart is another issue altogether.
And make sure that little bugger isn't starting to grow where surgery will
eventually never be an option.

best
