Hi David,

What you describe is not alien to what I've experienced in the past.
A few years after my surgeries & treatments I found myself just not feeling
like I thought I should. A family member spoke to me and said they recognized
certain things in the way I was and maybe I should look into finding a
therapist to talk to. I resisted at first thinking I was handling it on my own
when I finally decided to give it a try. I don't know the science behind it,
but going once a week and talking to a stranger about what I had been through
helped. After a while I just felt like there was a burden lifted off me. After
a while I found I was reconnecting with friends again and enjoying the things I
used to do.

Just a bit of advice from someone who has been there.

                         Mike
