----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: LongRider27 Message 4 in Discussion Sharon said "I believe that it is more common in women than in men, because, women and children have smaller skulls, smaller spaces and that the growing tumor can be more apt to cause this condition. This explains why men can have much larger tumors before they become symptom."*** I must disagree with this because pituitry disease disrupts and can stop the menses in women. This is an indicator to women that something is wrong and will cause many of them to seek treatment eariler in the disease process. This is an importamt symptom that men just don't have. My hope for you is that the Chiari specialists offer some effective treatments. Please keep us informed.
