----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: rascoleah Message 6 in Discussion Hi, I'm not sure if it means anything. But only a few months after I was diagnosed with a prolactinoma, my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor (Meningioma). It was very close to his pituitary and was causing serious vision problems. I just thought it was weird that we both have similar situations. Well his had to be removed it was pretty big. Anyway, the surgery went well and he's fine now. It also lowered his blood pressure dramatically. I've often wondered if maybe just having tumors are genetic somehow. My son had a mass from his knee removed. It was a bone mass (benign). I don't know! ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
