I agree. Facebook and MySpace are too invasive and
expose all of us to everyone's backgrounds and potentially offensive
material. And I won't even start with trying to search for a member and
what those results could entail. I do not support this at
all.

Marcia asks, "Hi all. What are your
thoughts about starting a group on Facebook?"
I almost
EXPLODED! "Is that one of those that has the garish color
backgrounds that makes the type invisible? With all those tacky
'adds' comments down the side? And where you have to wait five
minutes until their caterwauling music begins, that drives you
up the wall?" No, wait, that must be MySpace.
Give us
some links to group pages on Facebook... I dunno how to find
one. On an opening pages, www.facebook.com/facebook, they
mention FB Discussion Board (being phased out), FB Connect, and
Facebook Support Network. 'Splain it to us.
No opinion
here. I trust Minnie. Plenty of you could offer her more input
than I could. JUST DON'T PUT US ON MySpace!! Brrrrrr, I'd quit
before I logged onto one of those pages every day, with such an
assault to the
senses.
