----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: anonymouspitpatient Message 1 in Discussion Hi, I was diagnosed with a macroprolactinoma in early 2005. I have been on Dostinex, then Bromo, then back to dostinex over the last 4 years. My tumor has not shrunk [nor grown] over the last 4 years. After 5 MRI's my doctor told me that only part of the tumor bulk is a macroprolactinoma while the other part is unknown but benign. That is why after very high doses of Dostinex, the tumor did not shrink perceptibly. Is there anyone else here who has a similar tumor? Mine is about the size of a quarter [1.4 mm x 1.7 mm x 1.8 mm] Also, I was wondering if some form of ADD drugs would be approprite for me. My work performance has slid exponentially over the last 4 years due to lack of concentration and short term memory problems. I've had quite a journey on the dostimex, but that is really another post.
