I'd like to make it clear on the site that you're in incubation. Though the domain (incubator.apache.org) and the logo (incubator) give some notions, they don't convey that incubation is about community and legal issues, not maturity nor quality of code (which should be good for you guys :)
I'd put the incubation disclaimer somewhere on the front page, just after the first paragraph explaining what pivot is: ---- Apache Pivot is an effort undergoing incubation at the Apache Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Apache Incubator PMC. Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF. ---- Martijn On Wed, Mar 18, 2009 at 7:46 PM, Todd Volkert <[email protected]> wrote: > Ok, after some fine tuning, I think the first revision of our > documentation site is good to go; check it out at > http://incubator.apache.org/pivot/, and if anything doesn't feel in > keeping with the Apache Way or the Incubator policies, please bring it > up so I can fix it. > > Thanks, > -T > -- Become a Wicket expert, learn from the best: http://wicketinaction.com Apache Wicket 1.3.5 is released Get it now: http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/wicket/1.3.
