Although I think that OSGi is great technology, I don't see that it's
something that pivot needs to implement, other than perhaps making it easier
for OTHER people to use pivot in an OSGi based application.

The latest java plugin displays a kind of loading thingy, and it also allows
you to specify a splash image to display while the jars are loading.

I'm not sure if it's still a problem, but I tried once to implement an
applet loading display using a custom classloader and ran into some bugs in
the classloader/sandbox interaction in the java plugin (this was java 1.5).
