FYI, the plan is to restructure the demo deployment into a WAR that
contains the compiled libraries as well as HTML launcher pages for
each one, probably for version 1.3.

It would be really useful if there was an ant task that allowed the
demos, etc to be run very easily, e.g. by opening a index.html that
contained a link to each demo and that each demo worked without
having to any additional configuration. This would serve a couple
of purposes:
1) Allow faster validation of the release clients by the development
team
2) Make it easier for Pivot users to hack and play around with the
existing demos for learning
