Yes, nowadays, we have hard times motivating translators....or sometimes the people who did translations (sometimes years ago) vanished, etc. Still, I recommend going through the "call for translations" process that helps the still working l10n teams to do their job...
OK, let's try it again the next time...
Anyway, thanks for your answer and I hope we'll soon converge to have a fully translated French translation (it's quite likely that I do it myself in case nothing comes).
