Hi,
a patch for this bug was forwarded to upstream in 2005 (see the link
above). But it seems there hasn't been any reply to it.
As the patch wasn't explicitely rejected upstream, I'm removing the
wontfix tag.
Since a long time passed since then, the patch doesn't apply to the
current codebase anymore and would have to be reworked.
If you are still interested in this feature, it would be great if you
would update the patch, so that we can ping upstream about it.
