Updating pyclamd turned out to be a little harder than I had hoped. Working on it.
Scott K ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: pyClamd License Date: Friday, July 04, 2014, 12:25:27 From: Scott Kitterman <[email protected]> To: [email protected] I am looking into updating the long neglected pyClamd package in Debian. In reviewing your package, I discovered that the licensing information is inconsistent. Both the web site and pyclamd.py refer to LGPL version 3 or later. setup.py and PKG-INFO both say simply LGPL. README.txt says GPLv2. I suspect your current intent is LGPL version 3+, but I can't ignore the inconsistencies for Debian purposes. Also, for clarity, Debian wants a full copy of the license in the tarball. This is usually the copying file. It would be very helpful if you could clarify this, ideally with a new release that resolves the inconsistencies and adds the full license. Thanks, Scott K -----------------------------------------
