Hello Dmitrijs, I've read the page about Ubuntu Distributed Development. The 'traditional' way of making packages, for just now, is easier for me to understand, since I can then see what happens under the hood.
As for merging upstream, the command $ bzr merge-upstream responds: bzr: ERROR: unknown command "merge-upstream". What was done is this: To just remove the data that is no longer in bibledit-4.4.tar.gz, and add whatever is new by unpacking the tarball into bzr, then commit and push the result. Will make merge proposals in future, sorry I had overlooked that option. Teus.
