The code does actually support multiple URLs and looks like it should
support full URLs being passed on the command line, it's "just" the
option parsing code that needs modifying in that respect. (Hence
cloning as two separate bugs).

already works fine, so this bug is purely about adding the shorthand.
I've closed the "configurable URLs" bug as the functionality already exists,
I just managed to overlook it somehow. I'm open to discussion as to whether
the second bug should be closed as well and this bug repurposed for the
user-configurable URL tags, or treat them as separate issues (add -uedu to
the package and then add configurable tags).
