manpage-alert doesn't operate on packages but rather the files found in
the given set of paths.

Unlike wnpp-alert and rc-alert, its data source is the local file system
rather than an external source so I'm not sure that the idea of being
able to check everything from one machine makes sense in this case. The
output is also a list of files, not packages.
