Package: devscripts
Version: 2.10.25
Severity: important

Hello,

debrsign is also effected by the changes file Format: 1.8
where Checksums-Sha1: and Checksums-Sha256: fields where added.

For debsign it was reported and fixed in BR #474949
( http://bugs.debian.org/474949 )

So a patch for this bugreport might be in that BR.

Cheers

debrsign doesn't actually do any signing or modifying of the changes
files, so can't be affected by the changes.

debrsign copies the file to the remote host, runs debsign there, and
then copies the result back. The signing and updating of the changes
file is performed by debsign. If you're seeing a problem with the file
not being updated correctly, my suspicion would be that the remote host
isn't running an up-to-date debsign.

I've just checked using two up-to-date hosts and the .changes file was
updated correctly.

I'm therefore closing this bug with this message.

Regards,

Adam
