When I call debuild with --preserve-env and have GREP_OPTIONS="--color=always"
set in my environment the call to grep of the dpkg-parsechangelog
output fails because of the escape codes inserted for
colorization. For what that part of the script is trying to do it
makes more sense to just use perl's builtin grep.
I've attached a patch below. Note that the script calls the system
grep in a couple other places, but I haven't patched those ones, just
this one instance:
