However, if I explicitly set the HELO via --smtp-helo on the command line or BTS_SMTP_HELO in ~/.devscripts, bts starts working again. I guess I can live with that, though I wish bts could work with less configuration. One idea: if /etc/mailname does not exist, how about defaulting to the domain name part of $DEBEMAIL or $EMAIL? - Josh Triplett
