In addition to option --mutt, please add support for Emacs by adding option
--emacs.
It's very easy to start mail with a email message template (the -Q is
there only for fast startup):
emacs -Q -nw --eval '(progn (find-file "/tmp/template.mail") (message-mode))'
The message template, here /tmp/template.mail, can contail pre-filled
(To: Subject:) and have a MIME attachement filename pointing to
external source via "filename="
