WCAI to Collocate Annual International Symposium at 4G World 2010
Conference and Expo in Chicago Oct. 18-21

Boston - March 8, 2010 - 4G World 2010 today announced that the
Wireless Communications Association International (WCAI) will
collocate its 16th Annual International Symposium with the 4G World
2010 Conference and Expo, running Oct. 18-21 in Chicago. 4G World, now
in its second year, incorporates the highly regarded former WiMAX
World and Mobile Internet World conferences and expos as one premier
event. For details on the event, go to

"Building on the successful partnership with 4G World last year, WCAI
is excited to once again join forces to produce the world's largest
conference and expo for the wireless broadband industry," said WCAI
President and CEO Fred Campbell. "This year's WCAI Symposium will
feature a comprehensive program that reflects some of the most
significant developments in our constantly changing industry. We look
forward to seeing old friends and welcoming new faces to the show, as
we work to create one place for industry stakeholders from around the
world to network and define next steps in 4G policy and market
development."

The WCAI Symposium's program runs from Oct. 18-20 and features the
following summits:

•The 3.65 GHz Summit (Oct. 18) will focus on business models,
technical challenges and regulatory issues associated with wireless
broadband services in the 3.65 GHz spectrum.

•The l...@net Summit (Oct. 19) will bring together key industry players
and regulators to discuss spectrum issues and wireless broadband
network deployments in Latin America, one of the fastest growing
wireless broadband markets in the world.

•The Broadband and Wireless Policy Summit (Oct. 20) will discuss the
challenges of implementing the U.S. National Broadband Plan, analyze
the impact of network neutrality on wireless business models and
explore options for using the DTV broadcast spectrum and federal
spectrum for wireless broadband services.

"We are extremely pleased that the WCAI has chosen to collocate its
long-running and very successful Symposium with us again at 4G World
2010," said Eliot Weinman, president of Yankee Group's Events Division
and 4G World conference founder and chair. "With the collaboration of
the WCAI, 4G World will create the world's largest conference and expo
focusing on the opportunities and challenges of next-generation
wireless broadband networks, technologies and applications."

In 2010, 4G World is expanding its program and coverage areas by
partnering with key associations like WCAI, research firms and global
media channels. The four-day conference, which runs from Oct. 18-21 at
McCormick Place in Chicago, brings together industry, academic and
government professionals in a premier, multi-track forum covering the
entire 4G and mobile Internet global ecosystem. "We expect over 175
industry experts to present on topics ranging from operator business
models, to infrastructure and network topology, to devices, services
and applications," Weinman said.

About 4G World
Welcome to the second annual 4G World™, the first and only conference
and expo covering the entire ecosystem of next-generation technologies
that enable the mobile Internet revolution, including mobile network
infrastructure, advanced devices, applications and content.

Yankee Group, the premier research sponsor of 4G World, believes that
operator strategies for 4G network evolutions will not be driven by
technology, but by competition and market demand. As the Anywhere
Network® takes hold in the mature markets of North America, Europe and
Asia, operators are anticipating massive growth in broadband data
usage and planning their network migration strategies and business
models for monetizing mobile Internet services. 4G World offers them
an opportunity to research state-of-the-practice business models and
advanced mobile technologies, and learn from other operators about
what works--and what doesn't--as they migrate their networks to 4G.
