Hi, I like to continue to discussion if Python scripts should be allowed in devscripts. There were some concerns raised:
1. Additional package dependency on python. 2. Maintainability. 3. Code duplication. Did I forgot a concern? 2. The Python scripts are already maintained in ubuntu-dev-tools. Moving some of them to devscripts won't change anything regarding maintenance. Stefano Rivera and me (both DDs) offered to official maintain them in devscripts. 3. We already have the code written. We will have a session about this topic at UDS [1]. It would be nice if you could attend the meeting - either in person or remotely.
