Package: devscripts Severity: wishlist Tags: patch I'm working on making the Chromium (www.chromium.org) pass licensecheck, and here's my third patch (the first one was http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=641497).
The patch makes the script recognize Microsoft Permissive License (Ms-PL). Note that according to FSF this is a free software license, just incompatible with GPL: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#ms-pl It's also OSI-approved: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/alphabetical The Chromium tracking bug for this is http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28291
