I don't recall why we chose not to have a Jive forum for pkg-discuss, other than a general unhappiness with the brokenness of Jive. Glynn might remember better than I. > Has there also been any thought given to splitting off the forum, at > least breaking off the bug reports and code reviews from the > informational and process-related issues? Stephen and I have felt that keeping it all bundled together until the volume truly becomes sufficient to break it off is best, but there's been no discussion of that, nor have there been any complaints. Note that I've taken pkg-discuss off the CC list of the remaining bugs that had it there, so that, at least, shouldn't be an issue. If you want a place where people can pontificate all day long about How Things Should Be, I hear indiana-discuss is the place for that. :) Danek _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
