What's the point of implementing new namespace, when we could easily use 
dependency action to provide virtual packages? Like,
mutt requires mta
mta is virtual package provided by sendmail or postfix or exim
It's not a package manager business anyway since it's absolutely 
possible to have more than one alternative installed at once and 
application should have a way to distinguish alternatives.

and failing when you have more than alternative is definitely a bad 
thing (tm). Are we really have to imitate Buridan's ass?
