Mostly that it's different than what the rest of the universe has standardized on. From scripting to finger-macros, sudo is built into the unix universe's gestalt. Pfexec/rbac may be somewhat technically better, but not by enough to overcome the advantages of the wide adoption of sudo. The lack of sudo is almost as annoying as the SVR4 command line parameters to ps. _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
