Hi, experts,
I suspect the answer is "no, you can't", but can a package import SMF (and enable the service) as a part of installation?
Looking at posts like [1] makes me think that the feature is not provided, but if so, I find it very unfortunate.
When I packaged the same software for Debian, I was able to start my daemon as soon as the package was installed. But with Solaris, it seems like either I have to ask the user to reboot (nowadays even Windows don't do that), or ask them to run some commands, which they'd have to cut&paste from somewhere.
Is it at least in the TODO list? Or are there some deeper reasons behind why this feature is not available ?
