I had to go search for Jim's note (behind in my on-discuss reading!) I
suppose I agree with you both on this although I still think putting
known platform-independent files under a per-directory "share" is a bit
cleaner if for no other reasons than documenting the fact they are
(supposed to be) platform-independent.

Anyway, it's not a big deal to me so I've reverted this back to
/usr/has/man.
