Running the command:
pkg contents -t depend -o fmri IPSxaw3d
will tell you what IPSxaw3d depends on. There's nothing that will do it
recursively, but you can do that yourself and find out where the blastwave
dependency tree finally ties into the Solaris tree.
As for the error you're getting, I think that's bug 2229, and is fixed in
the latest SUNWipkg drop. Upgrade that first, then try your blastwave
install again.
