Good point about the large number of files. A log file/receipt seems a good 
idea. Perhaps that should be done as standard regardless of whether a -v is 
given and in the output tell the user where this receipt is located. -v can 
display the list of packages as it currenty does.

I really like Shawn's idea about adding a -r option to 'pkg verify' too.
