Hi, Shawn -

Thanks for the pointer the pkgbuild-sfe-devel list. I am a bit confused
now. Is pkgbuild used to generate IPS packages, or is it a mechanism to
generate the old Solaris SVr4 packages? Neither pkgbuild about page[1]
nor SFE page[2] talk about IPS. The IPS for developers page[3] doesn't
talk about pkgbuild. Does pkgbuild have connection with pkg.opensolaris.org?

Coming from Debian apt background, there are few things that I like
about pkg and few things that I don't. Probably the things that I don't
like are going to change as pkg matures over time. So, I am not gonna
complain much at this point.

Also adding packages to IPS page[4] says that interested contributors
should mail this list and someone is going to approve and give
additional details. Is it going to happen in this list or should I ask
for approval on pkgbuild-sfe-devel list? I am sorry if I am asking too
much too early.
