No, I misunderstood.  I thought Shawn/Tom were talking about creating a
separate mechanism for additional metadata in the catalog.  If he's just
going to use our existing catalog.attrs[] dictionary, then that seems
more acceptable.

I don't think so.  These are all specific to the respository.  If these
attributes were shared between the client and the server, then it would
make sense to put them in the catalog.  However, this seems to just
describe the depot.
