I'm all for getting rid of things that are just plain broken and have
been that way for a very long time. However, I've seen a few scripts
and documented procedures that reference /usr/ucb/ps and the arguments
supported by it but not /usr/bin/ps. Getting rid of ps(1b) would slow
adoption in a very small number of cases that I am aware of. This is
not insurmountable but it inconveniences the same group that make the
argument that top is a more convenient tool than multiple windows
running prstat and vmstat.
