Hi,
I'm looking forward to port/migrate my solaris application package
(which adheres to SVR4 standards currently) to the IPS standards. Thus, I'm
interested in knowing the steps that I should follow to achieve this.
FYI, I had gone through the IPS documentations section and understood the
pkg CLI's. But, I wonder if IPS will understand the
'postinstall','postremove','preinstall','preremove' functionalities that I
had for my application in its SVR4 version.
Are there any documents which you can point me to? Appreciate your inputs
here..
