After having discussed with Legal the issues around defining the term "nonredistributable," I've been asked to not use this term in documentation. If necessary, we will use "not redistributable," which removes the legal issues. In the IPS book, I've removed this term from the Glossary. In text, I've described the new /extra repository without using that term:
============= pkgs.sun.com/opensolaris/extra This repository contains software made available under end-user license terms that does not allow further distribution. For example, the full version of VirtualBox is in the /extra repository. This repository requires a key and certificate that you acquired for either the /release or /support repositories. ================ Sorry for wasting your time on this one. Thanks, Lynne _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
