The intent of -m was to show things "by manifest"-- that is to add in
the synthetic "fmri" entries and to show things one manifest at a time
with a delimiter in between.  That isn't actually working right at
the moment (see bug 4315).

But I'm open to making changes if -m doesn't do what people need.
