mm .. that's not good (thinking back to experiences where well  
intentioned consultants clobbered /var/sadm/install/contents on the  
SVR4 packaging tool and patches wouldn't install) .. perhaps it might  
make sense to put this in a separate container .. erm .. filesystem  
and do regular snapshots of this .. might be a nice RFE for the all-in- 
one packaging tool to protect it's database from accidental deletion/ 
corruption somehow.
