I didn't even think of this scenario. Do you suggest that there should 
be a (some) particular service as part of the system (e.g. they are part 
of OpenSolaris)? This reminds me of the postrun "service" which 
OpenOffice.org uses on Solaris. Because I have no idea how the 
OpenSolaris development really works, could you tell what the chances 
are to get this service into OpenSolaris?
